V8, is she doing her best while rendering?

Hi,
I found an NTSC file then rendered it to PAL as "good".
File size 151 mb.
Then I decided to re-render it as "best".
V8 told me that "no compression required" Finished the work in a short moment.
File size is again 151 mb.
Is there something wrong or everything is ok?

Hi,

It didn't re-render. Save your new file with a different name so it will force a re-render (and you can tell them apart more easily.)

"No Recompression needed" means it DOES NOT HAVE TO RENDER - so it simply copies the file instead which would be a very fast process. 151 meg is pretty small, though. How long is the video you're rendering?

You must be rendering to NTSC. When you redid the render the template probably went back to the default one. Make sure you select PAL again.

Oh, and the output filename has nothing to do with it.
