*Unable to find Flash Export?

There is NO FLASH EXPORT.
Vegas WILL import a .SWF though.
I saw/heard lots about this before the release... NO FLASH EXPORT!

I wish it were there but tend to use Squeeze or import a video file directly into Flash and let it encod it.

Vegas has had H.264 since version 7 ( at least ).

Look under main concept AVC / mp4

I wouldn't mind having flash export, but only if it were a full blown encoder, 2 pass, other options , etc.... Even flash itself doesn't offer that, so I'm afraid even if Vegas had it, I'd never use it, since I have sorenson squeeze, which offers all these extras.

I wonder why we get no high profile for H.264 AVC encoding. Thats ridiculous especially if you are going to burn 1080i/p BD or AVCHD discs. Main profile doesnt do any justice to your footage due to the lack of features and options available under the High Profile.

To call what is provided under the AVC tab, H.264 export is a sick joke. What is provided is useful only for export to IPOD's. You need the High Profiles (and others) for real quality output.

We should have had VC-1 export as well, that is the standard codec for HD-DVD, and BluRay.

Instead we've got this BluRay AVCHD boloney. Looks it will remain a two step process to export from Vegas, and a second product will be required, that is a major, major disappointment.
