VA2 - How to fully delete media from VEG file ?

I have a track. I don't want it any more. Ever. Not on my disk anymore.

I delete the media from the 'waveform' window. I delete the track itself (a single take). I delete the track's wav file from the Explorer . I save the project as a VEG file. When I re-open the VEG file it asks me for the deleted track !

Have I missed something ?

Once you've removed your clip from the timeline, go to the media pool, right-mouse-button click on the clip and delete it there. Choose the option to remove the clip from the media pool and delete from the drive as well.
