I did the Amazing video. Glad you liked it.

I just stuck the veg file here for a while using generated media.

www.members.cox.net/orcatekebay/Amazing-Generated.veg

Some of the things done won't be here, like the wall with the girl jumping in the water, which when you came around the corner showed the video in reverse (her flying out of the water). These pieces use various Vegas features to do extra stuff.

You will also find that some of the video is using the frame "backwards" This was due to the way the video was shot looked better going the other way.

The trick to doing this was another parent track looking down on the maze while I laid it out. I first drew in on graph paper and then use the coordinates to enter the positions of the walls on each of the pages. I then had to tweak them to make corners meet when it rendered. Also did some panning and cropping to get things to frame right.

Also it takes some serious horsepower to preview this. I would work in draft mode at first, then move it up as I needed to finally using ram rendering.

The motion was another problem. I had to play alot with the keyframes. Turning the corners did not flow as smooth as I would like, and I had to move keyframes to some strange places to keep it from moving thru walls. I tried more and less keyframes, and less ended up creating a smoother flow.

I really wish I could have drawn the path.

If you have any more questions just let me know.

You can now find
on the VASST site, where you can also see the rendered version.
