Hmmm...I smell an upgrade in the future. ACID Pro, which is normally $300 was blown out at GC last month for $150 with a free upgrade to version 3. Could be a coincidence, but I doubt it.

Well, to purchase or not. Studio Director 200 (a Pinnacle product) can now be had free from the web . . . of course, SD200 is some three or four iterations back from current video editing technology . . . still a capable linear editing product, mind you (very capable, indeed, if you want to be bogged down by linear editing). I paid the going rate for that product ($129 if memory serves me correctly), but, have no regrets, as it opened up a whole new area of PC usage for me.

I'm sorry that I spent $399 on VV when I could have had it for $149, but, I wouldn't trade the last six months of enjoyment for $250 or whatever.

I've learned a lot, accomplished a lot, actually produced some videos that turned a tidy profit for me, so am not bitter.

Only wish that two were better than one, then, I'd be justified in going out and purchasing another copy at the bargain price.
