.veg File built in 3.0c won't load to Vegas 3.0a

I have a .veg file built in Vegas 3.0 on one computer which I need to open on a second computer. However, when I copy that file to the second computer and try to open it in my Vegas 3.0 on that computer, I receive the message: "An error occurred while loading the project Conversation 3-5-2009.veg. The file is most likely corrupted or of an unknown format." However, the .veg file in question runs just fine in Vegas 3.0 on the first computer, and was simply copied onto the second computer. I did this three separate times with the same result. Since that Vegas 3.0 on the second computer had never been registered there, I downloaded the Repair Registration wizard from your website and ran it. I also went into the Windows Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs wizard and went through the 'Repair' process, still without fixing the problem. How can I manage to load it to Vegas 3.0 on the second computer? The file .veg file is attached. Are you able to load this file to Vegas 3.0? Possibly the problem might be that it was built in Vegas 3.0c (Build 138) on the first computer, while I have Vegas 3.0a (Build 107) on the second computer. I don't know how that happened, and I can no longer find my installation diskette. Could I have installed an update of the version the second computer from off your website? Maybe, but when I just tried to download an update to 3.0c from your website, none was available. P.S. My serial number on the first computer is quite different from the one on the second computer. I don't know how that happened either.

vegas 3 download on this page: here

scroll down or search for "Vegas Video 3.0".

Projects made in a newer version won't open in the older ones, that's always been how it's worked.

1) Download and install the 3.0c update from the link provided above.

2) You should edit your original post to delete your actual emails and phone number. That is an open invitation to spam and other forms of harassment from the internet.
