I have been told politely by SF that the VEG file format is
not for public consupmtion, which was what I expected.

I was able to confirm that the most detail (editpoints,
transistions, keyframes, etc.) are only availabe in the VEG
file.

I could reverse engineer the format, but I'd need some
enticement from other people.
