What card did you have before?

What are your render settings?

What is your setting for "Enable GPU acceleration of video processing" in your video preferences?

My Card before was a Sapphire Nitro R9 390 (bought over two years ago)
I'm rendering an mp4 main concept video 640x480 28 minutes length at 7,000 bps.
Old card test render = 11 minutes
New card test render = 20 minutes
Yes in video settings Geforce RTX is showing.

AMD has traditionally worked better with Vegas than NVIDIA, especially in the older versions. It might just be that your old card works better with VP13. But I am a bit surprised at that difference, as I thought OpenCL support was improving with recent NVIDIA cards.

Is your NVIDIA driver up to date?

Are you seeing any difference in timeline playback smoothness?

Thank you for your time. Yes. My card is up to date.
No notice of loss of timeline smoothness.
I wonder if this graphic card is too powerful for Vegas 13 and it is bottlenecking.
I tried reinstalling it with the drivers and nothing just these longer renders.

Try the same render with a trial of VPro 16 and maybe better to use there the Magix AVC codec with NVENC.
Do you see any improvements"?

J-v VPro 16 crashes when I open my old project. Perhaps it does not like old school settings like 640x480.
