Vegas 13 - No Render to MP3 option

Apologies - I am not technically inclined

I have been rendering podcasts through Sony Vegas to mp3 file format for about 6 months now.

I have just purchased a new laptop (Windows 10 - I don't even know how else to label my hardware setup - like I said, not techincally inclined) and am in the process of moving all my programmes over and in the process Sony Vegas has lost the ability to render to mp3 or even import mp3.

It is the same install file as I used previously (build 543) and when that failed, I uninstalled and tried to install via build 545.

I can see that there are some rather sophisticated looking workarounds but the main point is that I'd like the programme to do what it's supposed to do. This is very frustrating and I've been at it for a couple of hours now to zero progress.

No problem to do that in Vegas 13, look

You could try to install Vegas 13 in the Windows 7 mode as adminestrator.
