Vegas 14 crashes if Vegas 13 runs?

This keeps happening to me, Vegas 14 crashes if I try to run Vegas 13 simultaneously (especially when 14 is rendering).  Is anyone else seeing this?

(Sorry if this has already been posted, forum searches are pretty thankless for me right now with no way to limit or sort results.)

Never had a problem running even 4 different versions of Vegas Pro (10, 12, 13, 14) at the same time. Which version of Windows and how much RAM do you have? Windows Resource Monitor would help identify if you're running out of memory etc..

Thanks for the responses!  Yes, I too have always been able to run multiple Vegas instances: that's why this concerned me (no more cut & paste between projects).  I start to render a movie, then open another instance of Vegas (so I could work in the background) and the first instance would hang. Just opening an empty Vegas timeline would do it, time and again.

Of course, this morning I can't reproduce the problem, even with multiple Vegas 14's running.  I'll keep watching for it, however.  Usually, after running Vegas for a while my computer ends up in a "weakened" state (i.e. helper programs like Direct Folders stop working, perhaps an issue with RAM? Reboots fix it).

FWIW, my specs:

Windows Pro 10.0.14393 Build 14393 x64
16.0 GB (Physical RAM)
Intel i7-2700K CPU @ 3.50GHz, 3501 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450
