Vegas 15 crashing constantly on timeline with Nvidia Geforce 980

I was hoping when 15 came out the random crashing would stop. Nope... I was hoping when the patch came out it would stop... nope... I have to constantly save as I edit because of the random crashing. GPU acceleration needs to stay on because otherwise editing performance is very slow.

I have the latest nvidia driver and vegas patch.... can anyone help?

That may be the problem. Search the sticky posts, I believe it is mentioned somewhere in there which Nvidia drivers work with the GTX9xx and VP15.

This is my spreadsheet of "good" and "bad" Nvidia drivers but it only really applies to VP14 or lower, since VP15 is different. I've stopped attempting to maintain ti for the time being. Nevertheless, even with VP15, it might be worth trying some of the drivers in the "good" column for GTX 9XX cards: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-7FBumRiK9iWjreeJOn84_Jd_K7N1Vp_gRGmfsQl9lg
