Vegas 15 Pro refuses to playback

I Use Vegas 15 Pro Suite on win10 1803
Updated to Vegas Build 384

Raw Material is Mavic AIR edited Video , 1080 and 4K plus jpg pictures

Trimmer Window works fine exceot using space or arrow by mouse to start..
Video editing, grading etc works.
Preview again fine as long as you move the cursor by mouse.
Start button or space do not work.

Well, and rednering ends in unusable stuttering video.

I have no idea about which "Device" (Gerät) this is.

Also when rendering I found out that all my settings are gone and the new list had been to be .

How do I get back my settings?
How can I make the play button work?
Will an update to Pro16 solve or worsen the problem?

Does it work with a different kind of video footage? What happens if you start playback of an empty timeline?

Same with empty timeline on empty project. Then Vegas hangs aftr displaying the above window.

Maybe it's an audio driver conflict. Which audio driver is selected in "Options/Preferences/Audio Device"?

Could you check if it works if you set the "Audio Device" to the default "Microsoft Soundmapper"?

Kannst du mal versuchen, ob es funktionieren würde, wenn du den »Audiogerättyp« auf den Standard »Microsoft Soundmapper« umstellst?

Play button works only with Asio4All v2...while I then do not get sound as my PC is connected to Iconnet Audio2 which had not been an issuer with the earlier build...
Remaining rendering issue...

Then at least this really points to being an audio conflict. Very strange the Microsoft Soundmapper does not work for you.

For your iConnectivity device – Do you use the latest driver version 4.4.7. which was released last month?

Soundmapper does not trigger the error message, but does as well not trigger play not with mouse nor space.

Meanwhile, to your render settings issue.
When you say you updated to build 384, does it mean you used version 15 before (but with a lower build) and only updating to the latest build (within version 15) deleted your render presets which were present in a former build of same version?

Or did you upgrade from an earlier version of Vegas Pro.

Updated Asio driver asa you said and play button + sound are solved. Now try rendering

Well, how the f... can that be. After I updated the Asio driver, my rendering settings are back as well. Where is the logic behind this?
