So for starters. I can not open any project at all, whenever I do, the program immediately crashes and closes without any codes. and on the one project that I can somewhat semi-open (I can open it and view it but the preview is completely black) it tells me that "Plugin {Svfx:com.vegascreativesoftware:solidcolor} caused exception code 0xc0000005 and cannot be used."
However that's not the only error it throws. It seems to be throwing a random error depending on how I open the project.
The one just described is the most common. But other errors it has thrown is:
Some audio file was missing (but showing it in the error screen instead of just telling me that project media was missing, giving me no option to re-assign a file path.)
Not enough memory (I have plenty, memory usage is only at 38%)
I've tried re-installing Vegas several times, once I got redirected to install an older version of Vegas, I did. still didn't work. Then i tried to update Vegas through the old version and it tells me that the update is corrupt.
I've tried looking for driver updates but everything is up do date. No windows updates either.
I have no idea what is happening. I have made no system changes at all and I'm not getting anything useful out of Vegas since the errors are so sporadic.
Here's my system:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
GPU: Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC
MOTHERBOARD: MSI PRO A620M-E
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2x16GB)
SSD: Kingston NV3 M.2 2TB
CPU-COOLER: Black rock 3
OS: Windows 11 pro
Vegas 17 Pro is throwing a fit I can't even begin to describe.
