Vegas 19 VST3 support and 64x vst plugins

Hi,
I'm about to upgrade to Vegas Pro 19. But I'm working mainly with audio and I'm wandering if Magix fixed the VST plugins issues that persisted in the previous versions? I'm still having heavy pops/clicks issues when I'm using 64x bit vst plugins and there is no VST3 support yet.

Thank you in advance!

Hi VStoyanov, I rarely come to this forum as the one and only feature I want to work in Vegas still (most likely) isn't fixed. Just saw your question. So glad you're interested in this and asking about it! To answer your question, I've not heard any news this was fixed, so the answer is most likely 'no'. I was in touch with Magix support a couple years ago, and they seemed very interested in finally fixing this then but sadly I'm sure it's been brushed aside. As they say, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, and this VST issue doesn't squeak enough for most of their customers to complain so of course it's never fixed. Never had a similar issue with any other program using VST audio plug-ins.... only 64bit versions of Vegas. The problem first appeared in Vegas 10 when they moved to 64bit. I keep the 32bit version of Vegas 10e installed as it's the ONLY version of Vegas that can successfully use VSTs without all the ridiculous glitching.

Please email Magix about this. Please. Seems really no one is talking about it, so if they hear from more customers about it, hopefully we'll get a fix. But after 9 versions with this bug, I've really given up and had to move on to another app that can use VSTs. Good luck!

Nothing's changed of late with audio in Vegas. For max compatibility use 32-bit VST 2 and it mostly works.

It's less a bugfix issue and more one where audio functionality needs to be updated. Hopefully they can find an audio engineer to help with this side of the program.
