Vegas 19 Window Freeze?

LongIslander wrote on 9/3/2021, 9:14 PM

Two projects so far with same resutls. Window completely freezes and have to force restart vegas. If I try resizing the window everything just becomes white. Sometimes I am able to get an error code. I have tried enabling/disable dynamic ram, turning off gpu accel, turning off hardware decoding, turning off thumbnails and using legacy hevc/avc in the projects. So far none of the above have worked. Specs in sig below. Zero issues with v18 besides having to set dynamic ram to 0. Source footage is gopro 9 hevc @ 4k 60

I doubt the sensors in your taskbar are guilty.

Use the HWinfo64:

Who said they were? They have nothing do to with vegas thats just my CPU/GPU temps? 🤷‍♂️

I once used AIDA64's sensor value in the taskbar and met such phenomenal freezing. I found it also by accident.

Why not give a try?

I've already raised this, looks like you have time stretch audio in your project? which causes these white outs on screen and with menu options. If not time stretch audio then you may have found another way to do it. Only way out is to close V19 down. I hope the developers have flagged this as a bug.

Last changed by andyrpsmith on 9/4/2021, 4:29 AM, changed a total of 2 times.

(Intel 3rd gen i5@4.1GHz, 32GB RAM, SSD, 1080Ti GPU, Windows 10) Not now used with Vegas.

13th gen i913900K - water cooled, 96GB RAM, 4TB M2 drive, 4TB games SSD, 2TB video SSD, GPU RTX 4080 Super, Windows 11 pro

Thats it! Thanks andy. Sure enough I deleted the audio track with the speed ramping and now the interface doesn’t freeze….
