Vegas 22 and Voukoder

Sean-Lester wrote on 1/17/2025, 8:51 PM

Though I've been using Vegas for some time I've added Voukoder and now I'm completely out of my element. If someone can give me a base to start from that'd be great! Currently using Vegas 22, the latest Voukoder and Nvidia RTX 4060 in an eGPU. Have been rendering with Magix avc setting and Im looking to tweak and use more GPU

Thanks in advance

For MagixAVC try the "NVENC" preset to use the GPU.

NVENC (h264/AVC) through Voukoder is similar if slightly faster.

Which version of Voukoder do you have installed, Voukoder Classic or the new Voukoder Pro ?

Voukoder Pro

Update, I finally found a download for classic. It has an interface I can understand and use. Thanks for pointing me in that direction Steve!

I purchased Voukoder Pro this past week. I am running Vegas Pro 22. The Voukoder render setting will not show up in Vegas Pro when I go to render as. I posted this on the Voukoder website with photos. Daniel is looking into this with Magix. I do not know if it's my system or a Voukoder problem with Vegas? I do have a clean install of Windows 11 Pro with all updates installed. Will wait for answer from Daniel for a solution.

Same issue I was having, I found and installed Voukoder Classic and have the settings now

Yes I gave up with the pro version a while ago and just use classic which will do all you need with Vegas. I always use Voukoder now to render.

(Intel 3rd gen i5@4.1GHz, 32GB RAM, SSD, 1080Ti GPU, Windows 10) Not now used with Vegas.

13th gen i913900K - water cooled, 96GB RAM, 4TB M2 drive, 4TB games SSD, 2TB video SSD, GPU RTX 4080 Super, Windows 11 pro

Now I find that if in settings>video>options any changes I make, strategy for instance, do not save. If I change VBR settings then go to another tab or press OK they revert back to Constant Quantizer

I customise a template and save it with a new name so it always loads with same settings.
