Vegas 3 & QuickTime

How do you upgrade the QuickTime plugin in Vegas -- I have dowloaded and installed the latest player as a FULL install, but it seems to be the old plugin still.

Have you downloaded the full authoring kit? (the recommended download?)
You may need to do a repair install of Vegas if you've done this. You'll also need to reboot after the install on Version 3, I believe.

Do I need to download the PRO version?

I only download the new player and ALL of the options, which did have the authoring option selected.

Does the pro version have the necessary plugins for Vegas 3? I noticed Vegas 3 is looking for the QT plugin in C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Shared Plug-Ins\File Formats

Do a repair install of Vegas, that should clear things up.
