Yes, using parts of the 360 video in different angles for getting only "that part of the story"...

And how do you do it?, I've installed trial version of vegas, added a 360 video...... then what do you do for choosing portions of that video and export as standard hd file?

Thanks, I've been playing with tinyplanet fx too but scene rotation seems to be MUCH better option as the image quality is much much better....

Yes. Reorient the scene to center the portion you want to render, then use pan/crop to define the part you want.
