Vegas 365 subscription/ installed Veg. 20. now neither it nor 19 work.

Hello community and support,

With a 365 subscritipion, I finally took the advice I got each time I started the 19 version *circle icon on start* to upgrade. Now got the 2 versions, and neither even starts... I did reboot the pc twice. I am at a loss. It may be a simple issue but I can't do anything but 'uninstall both and reinstall Vegas 365'?

I use Vegas for editing contemporary dance videos of the TSM national theatre, and am not able to even start rendering...

We need to know what happens when you try to start either version of the program... does the splash screen load that tells you "creating windows", "initializing plugins" etc? Or does nothing at all happen? If nothing, if you press ctrl+alt+del and open task manager, do you see instances of VEGAS running in the task manager?

You should be able to keep 19 running alongside 20 just fine, but you need to make sure that you register 20 with the serial number they gave you with your 365 subscription, not the one you used for 19.

1) Nothing. No 'splash screen', message or anything.

2. I have on this notebook a Vegas 365 subscription. Working with 19 I assume. Now installed 20 and suddenly neither works. I tried 19 just to have any version working. When 20 works, I could uninstall 19 or leave it "just in case", right?

Understood the registration process, with 365 not the 'full version' software key. I have Vegas 19 on the desktop.

If you aren't getting splash screen go into task manager and see if you have a Vegas app running as background process. I noticed same with 20/19 installed that it sometimes gets stuck. If I kill the background task version then try again it usually starts. Annoying but well, welcome to Vegas.
