Vegas 4.0 is great, but can it do this?....

I'm making a "Behind the Music"-esque documentary and I have a variety of stills and text that I want to use. I need to know if there is any way I can perform those cheesy image zooms like when the narrator says, "And then Vanilla Ice hit rock bottom...again!" and a picture of Rob Van Winkle slowly zooms in and maybe even rotates about 45 degress.
Also, is there any way to set text into motion. Have it maybe scroll along the bottom of the frame or just move in general? I really want to make this great so I need to know exactly what I can do and any help would be... helpful. Thanks!

Absolutely on both accounts-Vegas excells at this sort of thing. Check out the pan/crop tool/keyframing and titling tool/keyframing. I think there are some excellent tutorials out there too.

Yes, it can--very basic. Have you checked the online "Help" or referred to the Vegas manual? You can even do a "Search" here in the forum.

You can even do it "à la KidStaysInThe Picture" with proper masking.
Even easier with V5. Another reason I have now to regret having bought that book about After Effects...
