Vegas 4.0A update?

Just talked to a friend who ordered the upgrade to Vegas 4.0 on CD and received version 4.0A. However, I don't see the update available on line. Am I missing something or is it not available for download yet?

4.0 and 4.0A are the same CD release, same thing, same as on the web. 4.0B is the update, hopefully out next Monday fingers crossed!

Monday would be great but how about a beta 4.0b release so that we can all see if it works and then you guys can tweak and release the official one on friday possibly?

Steinberg used to do that alot with that piece of junk cubase 5.0 and it got them a long way quick. Just a thought.

Sonic Foundry does that also and already have done that activity you mentioned for 4.0b.
