I've got a problem, when i start Vegas 4.0c it hangs and i can see in my taskmanager it takes 50% of system proceses of the system. If I a the same time opens another project this project will open. There's still a process that runs with 50% in the background. I've narrowed it down to, that it has to do with the sound card, but I get the error with both a Maya sound card (http://www.audiotrak.de/eng/maya44.html) , and a Waveterminal 192L (http://www.esi-pro.com/viewProduct.php?pid=5&page=2). Now I've put a creative soundblaster live card in the machine and now it runs, but this is not very satisfactory.
I'm running Vegas 4.0c on Windows XP, Pentium 4 with hyperthereading.
