You guys really need to consider the source in this discussion.......remember, this was the same guy who put the analogy of the war in Iraq together with needed software updates. So with this reasoning the blackout analogy also would make sense to this kind of lame brain reasoning. (BTW: My power didn't come on until last night around 4AM in Michigan. That was 36 hours of not being able to use my PC....damn I felt like a heroin addict needing his fix.)

"Stusy: Are you just playing dumb on purpose?"

I'll say it for you Peter, since I understand you have to be a little more politically correct in these forums than I do.

HE'S JUST PLAIN STUPID!!!

Well I think this latest "SoFo needs to release an update because..." just isn't as warped as the war reason.
To associate people being killed/taken hostage/disabled/homes being destroyed with a SoFo update will never be topped.
I'm surprised he didn't associate an update with the Washington snipers aiming at the school grounds. Kids being randomly shot...now THERE's a reason for an update!!

It's a serious sickness on his part, one he refuses to acknowledge. I don't think he's ever mentioned anything not working with his various apps. He just wants updates for updates sake.
I never thought one could be addicted to updates. Checking for updates 4-5 times a day and on week-ends(as admitted by stusy on a previous thread) sure seems a LITTLE excessive, don't you think?

I recently spent two full weeks without power in Memphis. In fact most of the city was without power for a week or more. They say it wasn't a tornado because the warning system never went off ... yeah right.
