Vegas 4 Contour AVS ShuttlePro and SpaceShuttle settings

Make sure to check out the help topic "Using a Multimedia Controller with Vegas" for a breakdown of how to use your ShuttlePro or SpaceShuttle for jog, scrub, and event edge editing.

Or, you can use your old Vegas 3 profile if you want.

The Contour software lets you have multiple profiles tied to an application, and switch between them on the system tray menu.

We're working on getting the .pref files either online, I'll update this thread when we do.

In the meantime, the help topic will help you figure out the settings to use -- start with the Vegas 3 profile and change the buttons and jog dial settings (but keep the F16-F23 shuttle ring settings).

Uh, I know I should be able to find the pref files using that link... but I can't.

Would someone be specific as to where exactly the AVS ShuttlePRO pref files for Vegas 4 are located?

Thanks

In directory where you installed Vegas (C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Vegas 4.0\).

Thank you, Alexei. I got it now.

Would you believe that I wrote to the ShuttlePro Customer Service about this and got no reply? Also, the new pref file for Vegas 4 is not listed on their website!!??!

Thanks again.

I looked in my Vegas4 directory and found two files sitting there:

Sonic Foundry Vegas 4 ShuttlePro.pref
Sonic Foundry Vegas 4 SpaceShuttle.pref

Aren't they the one's you're looking for? They were automatically installed with the program, I assume.
