VEGAS 4 DOESN'T RECOGNIZE SOUNDFORGE AS AN EXTERNAL AUDIO EDITOR.

I WENT TO THE PREFERENCE OPTION / AUDIO TAB AT VEGAS AND CHOSE SOUND FORGE AS MY EXTERNAL AUDIO EDITOR. BUT WHENEVER I RIGHT CLICK ON MY AUDIO TRACK IN VEGAS, I DON'T SEE SOUND FORGE IN THE LIST OF OPTIONS. BUT MY ACID MUSIC PROGRAM SHOWS, IS DER ANYTHING I DID WRONG?

(JUST WANTED TO ADD THIS, TO THOSE IMATURED PEOPLE WHO MAKES SUCH A BIG DEAL 'BOUT UPPER CASE LETTERS SHOULDN'T BOTHER, ALL I NEED IS HELP, AIIGHT? COOL)

I appreciate your thoughtful, measured and clear response. I've learnt plenty from today's interactions. I also thank you for reviewing your comments in light of my feedback. I can't ask for more.

I've often read your valuable posts and have appreciated the way you coax people to try things out. I guess it becomes highly . . .errmmm . . . "annoying" (?) when such well meant assistance is met with very negative responses.

I love this forum as I have been helped so many times by so many people and, in turn, I hope I may have helped others in some way.

What I fear is a downgrading of the community as people leave due to the rudeness of the very extreme minority - that would be a tragedy.

May I make a suggestion;

If the same happens again we simply leave the question to those among us who wish to politly respond with the rest of us remaining quiet. I know this may seem to go against the grain but the continuous discussions seem to perpetuate the rude individual's overblown self-imprtance which, really, we want to avoid.
