Vegas 4 Multimedia CD Codec

Help, I made a short movie and burned a multimedia cd from Vegas 4 to bring to work in our office and play it. It works perfect at home on my machines which have Windows XP and WMP 9 installed. But here at work, they have Windows XP Professional and are using the WMP 8. The problem is that when the disc starts to play it's looking for the proper codec to decompress and run the movie and it's not on the machine. Now I know I can go out to the net and get the codec and install on my machine here at work, (which they don't allow), however I don't want to do that. Instead, I want to make the multimedia cd using the standard codec that windows has since I know my audience's setup. So where do I make Vegas use the standard set of Windows codecs when I want to ?

Thanks,
Paul

If you know for sure that your target machines support WM8 (but not WM9), choose WM8 when you render. WM9-capable machines can also read WM8 files.

WM9 really is a much better codec, so if you could convince the potentates to update the machines you'd have better quality + smaller files. Updating the media player codecs won't break anything.
