Vegas 4 - Weird Mouse anomaly

I'm lefthanded and like to put my mouse on the Left side of the keyboard. The buttons for the mouse are setup the opposite of a right handed user. I've just purchased and intstalled Vegas 4 on my laptop and once I open an instance of Vegas, my mouse buttons revert to that of a right-handed user. Very strange. DVD Architect does not do this. The beta version of Vegas 4 did not do this. The buttons are only reversed inside the Vegas program...all othger applications remain as I have originally setup.

Is anyone else having this problem? Can I change the mouse button setup inside of Vegas...if so...how?

Is this a Logitech mouse?
Someone mentioned going back to the 9.73 drivers instead of the 9.75.

I know for sure that one of the Vegas team members has his mouse set up "reversed" and on the left, and I'm positive he would have said something if Vegas was not honoring this OS setting.
