Vegas 5 won't apply a 16:9 mask!

Hi
I've just upgraded to Vegas 5. I was doing an edit this week and noticed I couldn't generate a 16:9 crop/ mask for the entire track like I used to with Vegas 4 on the track motion option. I had to go into each clip and put it on seperately with the event/pan option!
Am I being silly or have they forgotten to include this feature with Vegas 5?
regards to all

can't wait for XL2!

The presets are gone in Vegas 5, 3D makes some things more challenging...
You can always create a mask using pan/crop and parent it to the whole project, or create a transparent mask in Pshop or other tool and do this in a similar fashion.
Yeah, the XL2 is a very nice cam, feels good, looks good. Native 16:9, 24P in real usable modes, pro audio connections, better lens...lotsa goodies there.

I'm working on a feature project and am using a photoshop-made 1:85 mask that sits on the top track and extents across the entire project, but curious as to how to use pan-crop to parent the whole project. How is that done?

This makes me wish, of course, that the output buttons along the top of the project view window could include a 'letterbox' mask setting.
