eh - wait till they come out with the new windows vista or whatever it's called.

I think it's gonna be 64bit and they're doing some stuff to fix the wretched registry.

Vegas 6.0b and DVDa3 work just fine on XP x64. It one of the reasons I switched from Premier and Encore has I was having problems getting Adobe to recognize my DVD burner under x64.

I'm getting good response and processing times with my Dell 670 dual 3.2 Xeons and 6GB memory.

Creative's Audigy 2zs works, nVidia FX 3400 and some other models also have 64 bit drivers. Avast Antivirus works and I understand that McAfee and Symantec had corporate editions of their scanners that work - there are others also. Personally, I've had nothing but troubles with anything from Norton so I don't even look in that direction. Some printer and scanner drivers are being issued by the orig manufacturers, some older models are supported straight out of the box.

Just takes a little searching on the internet to find out if your hardware has drivers or will be coming soon.

I sure hope they patch the known, but unfixed, bugs first, before introducing (potentially) more...
