I'm not Grazie ( I don't even play him on TV), but you might want to check out this sample from the AP5 tutorial DVD set.

Hope this helps.

My thoughts completely . . just had a MASSIVE chat about this within the Cafe, with Nat!

I'm really gonna need a trainer for this .. .PLUS some serious medication too!

You asked me before I could get to the keybopard . . I was waiting to here your comments . .hah!

Jay? The're stacking: MM and BG3 .. . Wait till I learn that BG3 can be regarded as ANOTHER piece of Media I could nest and nest-veg thru' V6 . .. have you thought of that - eh? I had!

Grazie

No, I hadn't of that... scary stuff happening here!

Mr. Bernard! Mr. Gladwell!
Do you have something you'd like to share with the entire class?
And quit smirking, and NO SPITBALLS!

Jay Gladwell wrote on 4/16/2005, 2:00 PM

Yes, Mr. Standing. Grazie, statred it! He said he didn't understand how the Media Manager in ACID Pro worked, and I said I didn't either. And now it looks like Vegas 6 has the same thing, now we're really confused!

And, Mr. Standing, those aren't spitballs. Grazie has a sinus condition.

I really want to have my media organised by Media Manager and to be able to make the most of it. PLUS now being able to have Veg projects regarded as just straight Events. This is going to be amazing!

I've just got my hands on the Gary Rebnoltz tutorial on ACID Pro - I'm very confident that by the time V6 comes about I'll be well placed to take advantage of these advanced features.

Grazie

Hi Grazie
I went to My Account and the upgrade for V6 is present and the price including dvd A but the link will not work properly, rather it takes me to a generic page with not further instructions.
Any idea's would help, my screen readers are not transmitting the proper info possibly.
Thanks
Marty

Hmmm.... thanks for sharing. I may download the Acid 5 demo and see if I can get the hang of it.

Are you implying that Media Manager will "see" .veg projects as events, too?
Jay Gladwell wrote on 4/17/2005, 6:53 AM

LOL

Brian, I don't know enough about the Media Manager to imply anything!

What would be super cool is if you could log offline media on DV tape (maybe SFVIDCAP files?) in Media Manager as well.

(Twiddling my thumbs very anxiously.....)

The media manager will indeed scan for Veg files that are now droppable on the timline as events.
