I tested this four times with the same result. Here are my repro steps.

Just Launch Vegas (without media M enabled)-no project
launch MP 10.00.00.3646
play a cd
locked MP first, then computer after 10-20 seconds of playing
MP came up and said that it was not shut down correctly so it disabled all plugins and still shoked three additional times.

Don't have another computer to try so thought that I would ask you all here to see if it is just my homebrew. Thanks!
