Vegas 6: Nested projects better than nested timelines?

Question:

In your opinion, do you think the mentioned "nested projects" feature would be the equivelent or better than "nested timelines?" The feature for which everyone was asking for some time?

It seems that nested projects would be pretty slick and may, in fact, be better than nested timelines?

Just wondered some opinions from other folks.

Of course let's see when we get the release!

For my understanding of it, it would appear to be that "other" veggies get imported as "media" does and shows up as an Event. Now if this IS the case then I can "audition" these veg-events within the current project. If I then wish to "adjust" this veg-event I just need to go and alter it. If this veg-event is very copmplex, NOT having this appear within the current veg - and therefore keeping it simple for me, really appeals to me.

But, I guess the real boon to me would be that I could have a TOP level veg that would "contain" all these sub veggies that could be auditioned together AND I could make edit/judgments on the whole look and feel! Now THIS would have truly massive advantages for something like colour correction - yes?

. . and as I said, this is presently supposition on my part . .. and anticipation over logic OVER knowledge!

What may be happenning is that ALL the Guys and Gals that do know what is in V6 - if they ARE reading this, must be larfing up their sleeves! - Ok . . I'll stop . .
