I have a 10 second event which contains a png image with a Bezier mask that I zoom from a point to full screen using track controls. I have many points in the Bezier mask and it takes about 50 minutes to process the mpeg2 ws with a 2.6GHz HT. I have used this same event for years with no problem. When I run the same veg file with Vegas 7e using QX6700 rendering to mpg2 ws Vegas never finishes and the time counter continues to run - forever. If I try to cancel the render Vegas will not stop and posts a message that a process is running in the background and asks if you wnat to stop the process. If I select yes the process continues to run. Processor usage is at idle. The only way to shut down Vegas is from the Task Manager. I appears to me that Vegas has code timing problems.

Update: If you use a script file like Batch Render or Untimate S3 DVD to render the mpeg2 the render never get past frame 0 and runs forever. The work-around is to prerender parts.
