Vegas 8 rendering resolution error

When I go to render my videos and I'm setting up my template settings, the highest resolution it will allow me to use is 800x600. If I put anything higher in, when I hit 'OK', I get an error saying:

"Vegas Movie Studio does not support output of frame sizes greater than 1440 (width) by 1080 (height). The template you selected has been removed from the template list."

I get this error message at 1280x720 and 1440x1080, anyone have any ideas why?

The error gave you the answer already. You need to have bought the Platinum edition, not the plain Movie Studio one. Only the Pro and Platinum editions support HD.
