I watched it without sound the first time and then with the sound on quite by accident.

For me the sound is distracting and takes too much emphasis away from the vision. I thought your storyline and cutting told the story really well and I was able to experience your range of emotion just by viewing the images. Great movie which held my attention right through but for me the sound was a little lacking.

Hmmm ok improve the sound... i know the string section was pretty repetitive... but how about the sound where the main character is dancing? what did you think of that?

OK let me try and be more specific

Audio at the beginning does help to build the tension for your character.

I like the sounds used in the mailbox.

Sound when dancing.....didn't do much for my appreciation of the story line.

Sound when running up the path......liked that a lot

Voice over the Vegas you'll go crazy for it image.........just about right.

The problem with opinions like mine is that it is just that....my opinion... :-)

I hope this helps.
Dave

PS Just having watched it again and again; do you think a tiny bit of movement of the stills of the mail box would add to the impression of looking through hand held binoculars

I was contemplating throwing in a little blur at the beggining and then sharpening up to give the idea of focusing. A little movement would be nice using the pan crop tools. I'll be sure to put that in there. I'm glad to have your opinions while others seem to be passing this post over. O well. Thanks again!

I suggest to make a bit faster paced. And maybe making the black and white part a bit high contrast looking to emphasize the transition to color.

Further feedback for you from my wife, who reviews all my work with a critical eye. She liked the pacing of the story as it helps to get the message across and thought it was a cracking idea to depict Vegas in that way.

I can really identify with your character given that I can't bare the wait for the delivery guy to come whenever I order something.

I'd like to see your clip again if you decide to change it at all.
