I didn't know that there was an AVCHD 1080P.

I tested some HMC150 footage last night and did not see a problem with 9c
1080 / 30p

Same here, no probs whatsoever with AVCHD.
I have AVCHD from Canon HF10 (M2TS files) and form Panasonic HMC 151 (MTS files). I shoot 1080 50i, 1080 25p,and 720 50p, and Vegas 9c is snappier than ever and performs just magnificent.

One thing I think should be pointed out is I have discovered that 9c 32 works fine and 9c 64 does not.

So I think it would help a lot if those who are having problems with 9c would be specific as to if they are using 9c 32 or 9c 64.

Also might help to indicate if using 32 or 64 bit Windows and which version.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I am also now using 9c 32 bit and 9b 64 bit. 9c 64 bit does not work correctly on my system.

You're right:

Vegas 9c 64 bit
Windows 7 64 bits

GH1 footage: 1080 24p over 60i.

It's definitely a V9c problem. V9b do not share the same bug.

I did'nt try V9c 32 bits yet.

I have to correct myself, there seems to be a problem with Vegas 9c 64 and AVCHD. I was too fast statung that I had no problems. I will start a new thread.

I'm seeing the exact same issue with files from the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1. My files are 1280x720@60p. I'm running on Windows 7 64-bit with the 64-bit version of Vegas Pro 9.0c.

Has anyone else reported the issue via the support form?

BTW, Vegas 9b seems to run very fine with 1080 24P or 720 60P from GH1 (this camera is an exciting video tool, no doubt about that..).

I didn't reported the issue yet. My english is too approximative and i guess other ones will better describe the bug.

I've reported the issue and got the following response after some back-and-forth:
---
Thank you for reporting this issue and getting back to us with the details of the circumstances under which the symptoms are occurring. This issue has been reproduced and logged into our known issue database, to be resolved in a future update of the application.

I recommend either working with these particular files in the 32 bit version of the Vegas application, or rendering to AVI with the same frame size and characteristics for editing purposes in a 64 bit environment, as a temporary work around until the issue is resolved.
