When shooting in 30f mode with the Canon XH-A1s mini dv camcorder, Sony Vegas 9.e automatically detects the footage as being progressive when captured. However, with the AVCHD Canon camcorder Vixia HF S20 in 30pf mode, Vegas detects the footage as being interlaced. I know the S20 wraps the progressive frames in 60i; is there any way to actually get to the progressive footage? Or is the Canon 30pf mode not supported in Vegas?
