I use a combo of keyboard shortcuts, touching the screen & the mouse. Each has their pluses and minuses.

It seems to me you would have serious problems trying to do any reasonably high end work on one of those, the internal drive is too small and the USB external drive would be a choke point.

People do "serious" work on an iPad & MacBook, which are pretty much the same kind of thing. You don't need to do anything high end though, just use proxies.

They aren't even close to the same thing. Surface Pro is just like a laptop if you get the top model, iPad is garbage ( shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence ). MacBook, depends which one.

I think the biggest problem is the screen size, it's hard to even use 1920 x 1080 resolution without going blind or getting headaches from eye strain.

The MS Surface Pro will run Scratch Play and Construct. From what I read works fine with the Alexa, F55 and F65, supports LUTs and CDLs etc. Probably the reason Assimilate's code works on such limited hardware is because the code is literally written from Scratch :)
