Vegas and XDCAM

a) when dragging an IMX clip shot on XDCAM camera onto the timeline I only get access to Ch1 and Ch2 any ideas how to get Ch3 and Ch4?

b) Will future releases allow one to render finished projects back to IMX clips

any input appreciated

Don't know if this will help, but check Simon Wyndham's site. Or you might try contacting him. He uses an XDCAM and Vegas.

Phil, I thought I emailed you a while ago regarding this? Maybe the email got lost somewhere.

Thus far Vegas cannot handle the other channels in the IMX stream unfortunately. Although it may be being worked on for a future release, I'm not sure. It would certainly be a useful addition to have.
