Vegas burns previous CD instead of current project

I would love to know how common this is.
I'm currently using V 19 Pro, but this has happened with earlier versions too.
I create a new Audio CD project. I add maybe 12 tracks to the Timeline.
Tools / Lay out Audio CD from Events - red track markers appear.
Tools / Burn Disc at Once Audio CD.

I burn, then when I go to check the burned CD, the music on it is from a project I did a week or more ago!

This has happened many times over the years.

Solution is to Close down Vegas, restart Windows and re-burn.

Am I Robinson Crusoe here?

Are you using the option to burn to a temporary file first? It could be this is not getting deleted until you exit Vegas.

Hi DMT 3. I don't even know where that option is. I always use Burn / Disc at Once Audio CD

Hey that could be it DMT 3!

That option in my V19 reads "Use existing rendered temporary image" which is even more suspect.

Wondering why that would be used, but I shall make sure it is unchecked in future - thanks again.

Possibly when you want to burn more than one disc?
