Vegas Capture from tape, multiple files..

Hi,

I'm capturing from tape from a Sony Z5u camera , recorded in 1080i 30p.

I thought that I would get 1 big m2t file when capturing from tape, but instead I'm getting multiple files, seems like a file for every time there is a timecode break (or I pressed pause when recording).

Is there any settings I may have missed if I want to capture 1 large m2t file from tape?

Thanks

Turn off Scene Detection in the capture preferences.

In Capture preferences all I see is Device, then if I select it, it shows me the IEEE Device. (This the is screen capturing screen)

In the clip edit (right side) there's no Scene Detection

Never Mind, I found it...the Prefs icon was too close to the little arrow, and I thought it was 1 icon.

THANKS!

Some folks like the "multiple file" option. They find it is easier to edit. Easier to find selections that way.
