Vegas crash

my vegas 5b crash and close with ac3 encoding..i import wav file.vegas 5b give access violation error and crash.do u have any solution?thanks much more

notice:
my sistem is AMD.my OS is windows xp media center edition.

Has Vegas crashed more than once while encoding ac3?

Have you tried to import more than one wav file?

Usually an access violation has to do with another program or process using memory at the same time.

Any error messages?

Did you reboot and try again?
