Vegas Crashes Upon Loading

After booting up my computer, the first time I load Vegas
it crashes. Then when I run it again it loads properly. I
have Windows 98. Any suggestions?

Hi,
Can you be more specific when you say vegas crashes. Do you
get an error message? Sounds like you have a program
running, after your computer has booted which vegas doesn't
like. And when you run vegas, it crashes and also knocks the
other program out, which allows vegas to run the second
time round. Check which programs are running before you run
vegas, and check again after the crash. Just a theory and
something to try, Good luck!!

Thanks for the reply. I installed some unrelated software
today and the crashing problem went away. Strange. Almost
seems like there was an install cycle that didn't get
completed until I installed this other software. Anyway,
thanks again for the reply.
