Vegas does not load my Extension next time

How can I have Vegas remember my apllication extension and load it automatically the next time it starts?
Vegas has no problem with othter extesions.
What I mean is - when I invoke View / Extensions /MyExtension, my extension appears as a free floating window. I can then dock this window, and it behaves beautifully, like all other extensions.
However, the next time Vegas starts - my extension has to be loaded again, whereas other (commercial) exctensions are loaded and placed exactly where they were left during the previous Vegas session.
