Vegas doesn't remember my settings

When I open a project file (.veg), Vegas doesn't seem to "remember" the timeline settings, e.g., how expanded the timeline was (it defaults to a very zoomed out perspective), where my loop region was, etc. This never happened before - Vegas used to open a timeline identical to how I last saved it. Any ideas?

Not that I paid any attention to it before...but in doing some quick testing - VV opens to the last saved way it was. That is...I zoomed all the way out - saved the veg file, closed it and opened another one - and it opened all the way zoomed out.

I zoomed in that file, saved it....opned the previous veg and it ws all the way zoomed in.

As for the loop region - where ever the loop region was on the one I saved, that is where it was when I opned another project.

Either I'm crazy or Vegas is buggy in this regard. I even restarted my computer just to see. It didn't save the settings - always back to default-type settings...
