Vegas DVD content worth getting?

Hello, everyone,

I'm thinking of upgrading to Vegas 8 (my Vegas 5 won't install anymore, because it doesn't seem to work with .net-framework 3.0 - weird).

Anyway, I was wondering if there is anything essentially useful on the DVD or whether I can safely go with the download version and save those 35$?

(who's looking forward to working with Vegas again)

the only difference between the boxed & download + "optional shipped components" is that with the download, you get the software keys e-mailed to you vs waiting for the stuff to arrive.

everything on the DVD is downloadable if you want (at least I think it is) except you don't have a physical quick-start manual & shortcut key guide.

Pocket the $35 and do the download.
