Vegas & DVDit Problem, please help.

I am using version 2.0d of Vegas with all the updates
including the one for mpeg-1 & mpeg-2. When I try to import
an mpeg-2 file made in Vegas into DVDit I get the following
message:

DVDit cannot use this file. It has missing sequence headers
before each GOP. Please consult the manual of you mpeg
encoder for further information on creating DVD - legal
mpeg files.

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this ?
Any help is appreciated greatly, Thanks.

I never get an error with 2.0d rendered MPEG-2 in DVDit.

the ligos mpeg encoder (vf and vegas plugin) does not help this this problem...which is hit and miss, mostly hit.

Cleaner 5 is a great solution, but buncha bucks...

Patrick (above) suggests a freeware encoder...
