Vegas effect not complete no HEVC

I was going do some editing of some gopro footage and pulled it into Veffects to do some work to have a warning show up. it seems Veffects doesnt have HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) built in. So they send you off to Microsoft store to buy them, sure they dont costly at all, but its really lame that they were included in Veffects like they are in Vegas Pro.

how many other little hidden costs will i find?
for the $ we pay for VEffects, they should have been included.

It's working here. Just update Effects.

Also there is free software out there that can do transcoding, so no hidden costs.

to many years of gopro footage to transcode it, plus more time wasted.

i believe i running the latest, but i check that/

it works in Vegas Pro but not in Effects. so now i have more work to do, just to work with the same piece of footage in a bundle software package, where i cant transfer my footage between Veffect from Vpro seamless, uh.
as i said lame

yes there is free software out the to do the work but there is still a hidden cost, its me wasting my time doing it.

RogerS i will check for up dates, found an update for video driver anyway, thanks for that.
so latest version of both VP VE
