VEGAS Effects is just a version of Hitfilm Pro with some limitations (you can only access the compositing part of the software, not the editing part).

Look for tutorials for Hitfilm. There are a lot in the official Youtube channel

Are there any video tutorials on the internet on how to use the program please? I have had it on my PC for several years but have only just found the time to look at it and use it. Cheers John

@BMR-D John probably got it with an earlier version of Vegas as he said "I have had it on my PC for several years".
