Vegas Effects high CPU usage with timeline cache

Anyone noticed high cpu usage in Vegas Effects when timeline cache is involved?

When starting a new project or loading a saved project the cpu is OK. Of course depending on the amount of processing and fx... But will generally be close to 0% in empty project.

As soon as I create a timeline cache the cpu doesn't go below 30%. That is when idle in a new empty project. It is of course more when actually doing some processing.
